I'm really worried because I've had a fever on and off for a week, and I've been taking Dolo 650 and the Taxim antibiotic intermittently as prescribed by my doctor. He suggested I get another platelet test done, but since my last test was just under 24 hours ago, I was told I need to wait 24 hours before doing it again. For the last couple of days, I've been taking the meds continuously, and while I do feel a bit better, I'm not fully recovered. My body aches and my fever's hovering around 101. Could this possibly be dengue?

Considering your symptoms and the need for another platelet test, it is important to continue monitoring your condition closely. In case of suspected dengue fever, it is recommended to maintain hydration and rest. Additionally, you can consider taking Paracetamol 500mg for fever and body pain relief. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please consult your doctor for further evaluation and management.

View allCan you tell me what the Widal test is? The doctor wanted me to do this test because I had a continuous fever, but my malaria test was negative. The result came back as 1320, but I haven't been able to meet the doctor since the test. I took this test about two weeks ago. I'm not sure what this means.

I've had a cold for the past four days, and now it's moved to my chest. I've been on amoxycillin that was prescribed by my doctor. Today, I've started feeling a heavy head too. Are there any medicines you can recommend to help ease my headache?

I'm wondering if it's okay for an average person like me to take Zincovit and Vitamin C every day? If so, what would be the right amount to take? And if it's not meant for daily use, how long should I actually take these supplements, and what's the dosage during that period?
A normal person can take Zincovit and Vitamin C supplements daily, but it's essential to follow the recommended dosages: Zincovit (zinc, vitamin C, and other minerals) 1-2 tabletscapsules per day, and Vitamin C 60-90 mg per day,
