I'm really worried because my husband and I tried anal sex recently, and it was super painful the first time, so I had to stop. Now, the next day, I've noticed a fleshy lump around the wrinkles of my anus, and it's really painful. It's messing with my normal activities. What should I do about it?

View allI'm really worried and wondering if what I'm dealing with is a hemorrhoid. It started itching really badly after I had anal sex without using any lube, and as soon as we were done, I felt uncomfortable. I checked and saw something protruding, so I tried to push it back in, but that didn't seem to help. Now it feels bigger, it itches a lot more, and it's still protruding. Could you help me figure out what's going on?
That could be hemorrhoid, visit your general surgeon for evaluation and appropriate management, donot attempt to scratch it or push it back inside.

my father has been dealing with a fissure and tried anovate cream along with antibiotics but still isn't feeling better is surgery the only option left for him
If a fissure persists beyond 6-8 weeks of conservative treatment (like Anovate cream and antibiotics), surgery may be considered. However, it's not always the only option, and a colorectal surgeon can assess the best course of action. Surgery, when necessary, often involves a lateral internal sphincterotomy (LIS), which involves cutting a small part of the anal sphincter muscle to release tension and promote healing
