I'm really worried because for the past three months, I've had this constant excess mucus in my throat. I feel like I need to clear my throat all the time, and sometimes it even gets sore or I'll have a cough with this sticky mucus. It's frustrating because my throat occasionally turns red too. I'm trying to understand what's going on, but I'm completely stumped. What could be causing this? Is there something specific I should be looking out for or trying to manage it?

I'm a bit worried because I had an upper GI endoscopy about four days ago, and the doctor mentioned that any pain should go away in a day. But I'm still feeling pain on the right side of my throat, especially when I swallow or even just gulp air. Is this something I should be concerned about, or is it pretty typical?
It's generally normal to experience some mild throat pain or irritation after an upper GI endoscopy, especially within the first few days. However, if the pain persists longer than expected or worsens, it's important to contact your doctor to rule out any complications and get proper guidance.

I feel tightness and pain in my throat, especially when I swallow. I had deviated septum surgery before but now facing this issue. Could this be related or something else?
A sore throat and tightness when swallowing after deviated septum surgery can be normal due to the breathing tube and potential dripping of blood, but persistent or worsening symptoms should be evaluated by a doctor. It could also be related to other issues like allergies, infections, or even GERD.
