I'm really worried because for the past three months, I've had this constant excess mucus in my throat. I feel like I need to clear my throat all the time, and sometimes it even gets sore or I'll have a cough with this sticky mucus. It's frustrating because my throat occasionally turns red too. I'm trying to understand what's going on, but I'm completely stumped. What could be causing this? Is there something specific I should be looking out for or trying to manage it?

At RML hospital, they suggested amoxicillin for 6 days and sefixime for 5 days, still no relief. I read somewhere that it might be post-nasal drip and was advised to try an anti-allergy tablet and a steroid nasal spray. Can you suggest any specific nasal sprays or antiallergy tablets that might help?
