I'm recovering from typhoid and noticed my body temperature goes up to 99.1F. Is this still considered a fever, or is it within the normal range? Also, I'm wondering if it's safe for me to be in an air-conditioned room at work. Can I resume going to the office, or should I take more precautions?

View allHey, so my latest health report showed that my SGPT level is 60 and my total cholesterol is at 239. I'm kind of worried about these numbers. Could you tell me how I might be able to control them?
In your case, to control SGPT levels and total cholesterol, you can make some lifestyle changes and consider medication if necessary. For SGPT levels, you can try avoiding alcohol, maintaining a healthy weight, and eating a balanced diet. For high cholesterol, you can try incorporating more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet, as well as regular exercise. Medications like Atorvastatin can also be prescribed to help lower cholesterol levels. It is important to consult with your healthcare provider for proper evaluation and management.

I've been jogging for the past 9 months and it was going great until last month. Now I'm experiencing shortness of breath even with minimal physical activity and I can't jog or cycle like I used to. I've seen both a cardiologist and a pulmonologist, and my reports are normal. I just can't seem to shake off this feeling. Also, I lost 10 kgs through jogging without any weight loss supplements. Any idea what's going on with me?

Can I drink alcohol after getting the Covishield vaccine? I had my first dose about a week ago and I'm wondering if it's okay.
It's generally advisable to avoid alcohol after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, including the Covishield (AstraZeneca) vaccine. While there is no specific evidence suggesting that alcohol directly interferes with the vaccine's effectiveness, drinking alcohol can potentially impact your immune system, which might affect how well your body responds to the vaccine.
