I'm in the research field studying chemistry and recently I've been having some issues. My nose has been really dry and I'm also experiencing dry blood, which is quite painful, especially in the mornings. Could any doctors provide advice on how to deal with this?

My 4.6-year-old son has been struggling with adenoid issues for a year now and sometimes can't breathe properly through his mouth. The doctor recommended surgery but I'm unsure what's the latest and safest type of adenoidectomy available? Is going for surgery the right choice for his age?
