I'm struggling with a lot of phlegm in my throat every morning. I have asthma, so sometimes I get short of breath. I've been using nebulisation which helps, but it's not solving the phlegm issue. I've tried making myself vomit to clear my throat, but then I end up with an infection in my esophagus, and I feel like there's still something stuck in my throat after eating. It's making it really hard to eat properly. Can you help me figure out what's going on and what I can do about it?

My mom's been on atorva for the past couple of years, but she's recently started having this weird dry cough that we can't really explain. Could this be a side effect of atorva?
