I'm struggling with a serious sun tan that's really been a nightmare for me. My skin darkens very quickly whenever I'm out in the sun, and its gotten to the point where there are obvious lines between the areas that are sun-exposed and those that arent. Could you suggest a remedy for this? Also, how can I reverse the tanning effect and basically detan my skin?

View allI'm dealing with pattern baldness and have been using minoxidil 5% for about two years now. It seemed to help at first, but lately, it doesn't seem to be as effective. Could there be a reason why it's not working anymore? Any advice would be really appreciated.
Minoxidil 5% is a common treatment for pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia). While it can be effective, its effectiveness may decrease over time.Receptor downregulation: Minoxidil works by binding to specific receptors. Prolonged use may lead to a decrease in receptor density, reducing the medication's effectiveness.Other factors: Poor scalp health, inadequate application, or concurrent medical conditions may also contribute to decreased effectiveness. Options to consider: 1. Consult a dermatologist: Discuss your concerns and explore alternative treatments, such as finasteride (oral medication), low-level laser therapy (LLLT), or platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. 2. Combination therapy: Using minoxidil in combination with other treatments, such as finasteride or LLLT, may help maintain or enhance its effectiveness. 3. Scalp care: Maintain good scalp hygiene, and consider using scalp serums or shampoos that promote hair growth. 4. Realistic expectations: Understand that minoxidil is not a cure for pattern baldness, and its effectiveness may vary.

I've been dealing with keloids and recently got tricort injections. It seems like my keloid has gotten smaller, but now I've started noticing a watery discharge from the area that doesn't seem to stop, even with dressing and antibiotics. I'm really worried about this. Do you have any advice on what I could do next?

What does HPV look like on a man?
In men, genital warts can infect the urethra, penis, scrotum, and rectal area. The warts can appear as soft, raised masses with a surface that can be smooth (on the penile shaft) or rough with many fingerlike projections (anal warts). Others may appear pearly, cauliflower-like, or rough with a slightly dark surface.
