I'm taking ivermectin for a mild scabies issue and I'm supposed to take the medication on Wednesday. But I'm also planning to drink quite a bit of alcohol on Saturday. Do you think the alcohol will affect anything with my treatment?

Ivermectin is usually well-tolerated, but consuming alcohol while taking it may increase the risk of certain side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and headache. It is generally recommended to avoid excessive alcohol consumption while on ivermectin treatment. If you do choose to drink alcohol, it is best to do so in moderation.

View allI'm dealing with some really frustrating itching that's been going on for about 10 days now. I've tried antibiotics and Atarax tablets, but they haven't helped at all. The problem is, these rashes have appeared in some private areas, and I feel really uncomfortable about going to a hospital because I'm not sure how to show them. Do you have any advice on what I could do about this?
It sounds like you may be experiencing a skin rash or allergic reaction. Since the medications you have tried have not been effective, I recommend trying an over-the-counter antihistamine like Claritin (loratadine) 10mg once daily to help with the itching. Additionally, you can apply a topical hydrocortisone cream to the affected area twice daily for relief. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to seek medical attention for further evaluation and treatment.

I'm worried about a red perfect circle above my boyfriend's pubic area. He thinks it might just be an ingrown hair, but I'm not so sure. Could it be something else? Any advice would be helpful.
