I'm taking Susten 200mg tablets twice a day during my luteal phase, as my doctor recommended. It's supposed to be for 10 days, but after 8 days, I started bleeding. Does this mean I'm not pregnant? Is it normal to bleed before finishing the Susten tablets since they're progesterone? Im unsure if I should continue taking the last two days' worth of tablets.

-Bleeding while taking Susten 200mg doesn't necessarily mean you're not pregnant, as progesterone can sometimes cause breakthrough bleeding. It's important to finish the full course of the medication as prescribed by your doctor, so continue taking the ta

How dangerous is a left ovarian cyst that measures 51x36x43mm? Will it resolve on its own, or would I need medication or laparoscopic surgery to remove it? I'm really concerned and would like some advice.

A 51x36x43mm ovarian cyst (around 5cm in diameter) is not inherently dangerous, but it's a size that warrants monitoring and potentially further evaluation. It's possible the cyst could resolve on its own, especially if it's a functional cyst related to ovulation. However, larger cysts carry a slightly increased risk of complications like rupture, ovarian torsion, or pressure on other organs, and it's important to rule out malignancy, especially in postmenopausal women.

I've had a persistent cough for over two months now. It all began with painful swelling on the backs of my hands. I had a high fever that went away after taking medicine for five days, but the cough stuck around. Now I'm experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath with even a little activity, and the pain has moved to a sharp lung pain below my chest. I saw a pulmonologist, and my CT scan was normal, although my WBC count was a bit high. Today I went to a gynecologist because of lower abdomen pain and found out I have a left ovarian cyst. What could be going on? I'm really worried about how all these symptoms tie together. Is it something serious?

I'm trying to decide between private and community stem cell banking, and I'm a bit stuck. With private banking, they keep the stem cells just for my child and our family. But with community banking, it's like being part of a larger group where anyone in that group could use the stem cells if needed. I'm really curious about which option might be better for us, and if there are any big pros or cons I should be thinking about before making a decision. Can you help me understand the differences and what's best for my family?

Both options provide a significant opportunity to preserve stem cells that could potentially save lives in the future, so its essential to weigh the personal benefits and financial implications. Discussing your decision with a healthcare professional or a genetic counselor might help clarify which option aligns best with your familys needs.
