I'm thinking about getting a mole on the tip of my nose removed using the punch biopsy method. I'm curious about how long the healing process might take and if a scar will be left behind after the biopsy. I've even attached a picture of the mole. Can you provide some insight?

Punch biopsy is a common method used to remove moles for further examination. The healing time after a punch biopsy can vary, but typically it takes about 1 to 2 weeks for the area to heal completely. During this time, it is important to keep the area clean and dry to prevent infection. As for scarring, it is possible to have a small scar after a punch biopsy, especially on the nose where the skin is delicate. However, the scar usually fades over time and becomes less noticeable. To help with scar healing, you can apply topical creams containing silicone or vitamin E. For the removal of the mole on the tip of your nose by punch biopsy, I recommend consulting a dermatologist who can assess the mole and perform the procedure accurately.

View allI'm dealing with this really annoying itching on my hands and other parts of my body. It seems to get worse both during the day and especially at night. I've tried using some English medicine, and it helps while I take it, but the itching comes right back when I stop. What could be causing this persistent itching, and what can I do to get some lasting relief? I'm starting to get really frustrated with it.
Since the medicine you previously used did not provide relief, I recommend trying an antihistamine such as Cetirizine (brand name Zyrtec) at a dosage of 10mg once daily. Additionally, you can apply a soothing lotion containing calamine or a mild steroid cream like Hydrocortisone (brand name Cortizone-10) to the itchy areas. Remember to avoid scratching the affected skin to prevent further irritation.

I'm dealing with pitted acne scars and after doing some research, TCA cross seems like the most promising treatment for me. The problem is, I'm in Pune and I'm not sure where I can get this done. I'm feeling a bit stuck on what to do next because I'm not even sure where to start looking for the right place. Could you help guide me on where I might be able to find this treatment and maybe give some advice on how to proceed?

I've had this thing that looks like ringworm on my neck for a few months now. My doctor prescribed the strongest cream they have, but it's still not going away. I'm really worried and confused about why it's not healing. Could it be something else or am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be appreciated.
Persistent ringworm infections may require a different approach. In such cases, oral antifungal medications may be necessary. I recommend speaking to your doctor about trying oral antifungal medication such as Terbinafine (brand name Lamisil) at a dosage of 250mg once daily for several weeks. This should help to effectively treat the ringworm infection on your neck.
