I'm trying to decide between laser surgery and ayurvedic treatment for my condition and I'm not sure which one to go for. Also if I choose homeopathic treatment instead, how long would the healing process take? I'm a bit worried about recovery time and effectiveness.

View allI just had my Lasik preliminary testing done with Dr Anagha Heroor in Dombivli East and the reports look good. The doctor said I'm a suitable candidate for Lasik but I'm a bit unsure should I go ahead with the surgery now or wait a few years since I'll be pursuing MBA and other courses soon? I don't have any major health issues like diabetes or asthma and I'm not on any regular meds. Would love to hear other ophthalmologists' opinions based on my test reports

I had PRK surgery 6 months ago and have been using Veldrop gel for the last 5 months. My doctor recently prescribed it for another 3 months, but I've been getting eye fatigue and headaches for the past 2 days after applying the drops. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

My 65-year-old mom has a cold with yellow mucus when she coughs. Is it safe for her to get eye surgery right now or should we wait?
It's generally recommended to postpone non-urgent surgery, like eye surgery, when a patient has a cold, especially with yellow mucus, due to the risk of complications and potential for the surgery to be affected by an infection. Yellow mucus indicates an infection, which can make surgery more risky.
