I'm trying to decide between laser surgery and ayurvedic treatment for my condition and I'm not sure which one to go for. Also if I choose homeopathic treatment instead, how long would the healing process take? I'm a bit worried about recovery time and effectiveness.

My mom is 47 and diabetic, she just had cataract surgery in one eye and can see far distances clearly now. The doctor wants to use a different focal lens in her other eye so one eye sees far and the other sees near. Is this approach safe and effective for someone with diabetes? Will she adjust okay to having each eye focused differently?

My relative has blurry vision and the doctor recommended lens replacement surgery. Can you explain what the exact diagnosis might be and if surgery is really necessary? I've attached the prescription for reference.
