I've recently had a punctured and collapsed lung from a stab wound, and it's only been a week since I was discharged from the hospital. I know I shouldn't smoke since it might collapse my lung again or cause breathing issues. But I've noticed I'm coughing up a bit of blood lately. I'm wondering about my situation with TB. I've been on the AKT 4 kit for 35 days now and have kept myself quarantined this whole time, always wearing a mask. Is it safe for me to stop wearing the mask and be around my family? I'm just a bit anxious about making sure I'm not putting them at risk.
