I'm trying to understand the difference between obstructive sleep apnea and central sleep apnea. What's the main factor doctors look at when diagnosing these? I'm just a bit worried about mixed symptoms that I might have.

Pulmonary function test (PFT) is advised to the patient. Also central sleep apnea is less common .There is block in the airway in obstructive sleep apnea , in central sleep apnea brain signals to the muscles of breathing is blocked.

View allI'm 25 and having a bit of a scare here. I've been coughing up this black phlegm, dealing with nasal congestion, and feeling breathless, but it gets a bit better after I cough. I havent smoked ever, and I live in an area with clean air, so Im really confused. What could be going on with me? And what kind of medication should I be considering? Also, I'm not experiencing any cough or fever along with it.

I've been diagnosed with lymph node tuberculosis and my doctor prescribed Rcinex 600, Ethambutol, and Pyrazinamide. The instructions were to take the meds in the morning and wait an hour before eating. I've been diligent but my timing is a bit off, usually taking them between 7-10 AM and eating 2-3 hours later. Is this alright? Are there any risks of developing multidrug-resistant TB because of this timing? Would love some advice.
