I'm trying to understand my recent ECG results that mentioned a sinus rhythm with right axis deviation. I've been having occasional chest thumping, especially after drinking things with caffeine, trouble sleeping, and sometimes shallow breathing. What could this mean for my health, and should I be worried?

Sinus rhythm right axis deviation on an ECG indicates that the electrical impulses in your heart are following a normal pattern, but the direction of the electrical activity is slightly shifted to the right side of the heart. This can be a normal variation for some individuals, but it can also be associated with certain heart conditions. Based on your symptoms of chest thumping after consuming caffeine, difficulty sleeping, and shallow breathing, it is important to consider the possibility of underlying heart issues such as arrhythmias or palpitations. I recommend consulting with a cardiologist for further evaluation and management. In the meantime, you can try to reduce your caffeine intake and practice relaxation techniques to help with your symptoms.

Hey, I went to the hospital today because I've been having really bad chest pain from my GERD. They gave me a Pan injection, but the pain hasnt gone away. The doctor said I should get an ECG done and talk to a cardiologist. But I couldnt see one because of some financial issues, so I had to go home instead. Can someone please look at my ECG report and let me know if everything seems alright or if there's something wrong?

If you are experiencing severe chest pain due to GERD, you can try taking Omeprazole (20mg) once a day before breakfast for relief. Additionally, you can take Antacid syrup like Gelusil after meals for immediate relief from acidity. Make sure to follow up with a cardiologist as advised by your doctor for further evaluation of your chest pain.

I'm really worried because it feels like my heart is sinking or pausing, and I feel dizzy and confused, almost like I can't fully understand whats happening around me. I can hear and see things, but they dont make sense. My back and chest hurt too. I've had an echo and an MRI on my brain, and they both came back normal, and my bloodwork is fine as well. What could this be?

Your symptoms, including a sinking feeling in your chest, dizziness, confusion, and chest and back pain, despite normal echo, MRI, and blood work results, may be related to anxiety, panic disorder, or stress-induced cardiomyopathy; consider consulting a psychiatrist to explore these possibilities and discuss potential treatments, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relaxation techniques, or medication to manage anxiety and alleviate symptom
