I'm using clear gel on my face and usually leave it on for about an hour. Does that sound effective, or should I be leaving it on for longer to see better results?

I'm dealing with a really stubborn fungal infection that I've had for over 4 months now. Initially, I thought it was just a rash that would disappear on its own, but it resembled ringworm and has all spread over the lower parts of my bum. The itching is unbearable.
