I'm waking up every morning with a fever and feeling really tired, and my head feels heavy all the time. I'm starting to worry a bitwhat could be causing this, and should I be concerned enough to see a doctor?

I've been having a constant fever between 99 and 101 for the last 15 days. I feel pretty normal most of the time, but when it gets closer to 101, I just get really sleepy. I did a blood test, and it showed my hemoglobin is a bit low, but the platelet count is normal. I also tested negative for malaria, and my SPG report is fine. I've already taken two 5-day courses of antibiotics as prescribed by the doctor, but the fever is still there. There's no other problem, but I'm really curious about why this is happening. Any ideas?

I'm really worried because I've had a fever for the past 5 days, and after seeing a doctor, I found out that my white blood cell count is down to 2300 and my platelets are at 0.81 lakhs. I did a dengue test today, and it came back positive, but I haven't noticed any improvement yet. My doctor mentioned something about starting treatment on the 5th day. Can you please help me understand what kind of treatment to expect for dengue?

There is no specific treatment for dengue its just supportive and symptomatic...treatment is mainly to reduce fever, prevent dehydration and to observe patient carefully...if you are not having spontaneous bleeding nothing to worry... Just consult nearest physician and get your platelets checked daily as count bellow 20k may lead to dengue shock syndrome in that case you will require platelets transfusion...
