I'm wondering how long one Amlong 5mg tablet works to lower blood pressure. My BP levels are still low even after five days, and I'm not someone who's normally dealing with blood pressure issues. Is this normal, or should I be concerned?

I'm going through my echo report and have a few questions. It mentions normal LV with normal systolic function and no segmental wall motion abnormality, which sounds good, but I'm not quite sure what all that means. Should I be concerned about anything specific? It also says theres no vegetation or LV clot, which is a relief, but could you explain what "mild TR with mild PAH" means? And is a fast heart rate during the test something to be worried about? My EF is 60%, but I'm not sure if that's normal or not. Any insights would be appreciated!

Based on the Echo Report, everything seems to be within normal limits except for the mild tricuspid regurgitation (TR) and mild pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). For mild TR and mild PAH, you can take Tablet Sildenafil 20mg once daily to help with the pulmonary hypertension. It is important to follow up with your doctor for further evaluation and management.

I take concor 5mg for my hypertension and high heart rate. I vomited about an hour after taking my dose today. Should I be worried that the tablet might have come out, or is it fine to just continue with my next dose tomorrow?

In this case, it would be best to not take another dose today. Wait until your next scheduled dose tomorrow. If you continue to experience vomiting or any other concerning symptoms, please consult your healthcare provider for further guidance.

I've been tracking my triglycerides, and they were around 260. Lately, I've started doing a brisk walk every day for about 1.5 hours, just following what my doctor suggested. After about 20 days, my triglycerides dropped to 156. Is it normal for them to fall that much, or should I think about getting retested? Also, I'm curious whether high lipid profiles from before can get stuck in the arteries, or do they clear out once the levels go down?

It is possible for your triglyceride levels to decrease with regular exercise like brisk walking. However, it is advisable to repeat the test to confirm the improvement. As for the second part of your question, high lipid profiles can contribute to the buildup of plaque in your arteries over time. Lowering your lipid levels, such as triglycerides, through lifestyle changes and medication can help reduce this buildup and lower the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
