View allI've been dealing with gynecomastia and want to know which specialist I should see for this. What's the usual treatment process would I need surgery or are there newer options with faster recovery and minimal scarring? If surgery is the way, what type of doctor should I consult for it?
For gynecomastia, you should consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon for surgical treatment or a cosmetic surgeon, or an endocrinologist if you suspect hormonal imbalance is a factor. Surgery is often the most effective solution, with liposuction and mastectomy being the main procedures. Newer, less invasive techniques offer faster recovery and minimal scarring.

I'm a thyroid patient and have been on medication for 8 to 10 years. Lately, I've been feeling like there's a lump in my throat, and I often get breathless, mostly in the evenings. Whenever I do any hard work, my breathing gets faster. I'm not sure what's going on. Could you help me figure out what might be wrong?

Im really worried because I can feel my heart rate is really high and fast, even when I'm just resting. Its been at 94-95 bpm since this afternoon, and I'm not sure why. I have hypothyroidism and Im on 25 mcg of thyronorm. Could that be affecting my heart rate? I'm kinda scared. Any advice would really help.
Given the situation, it's essential to take precautions. Consult a doctor immediately, as cat scratchesbites can transmit rabies and tetanus. Even without visible wounds or symptoms, it's crucial to consider post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for rabies. Tetanus injection is recommended, especially since your last booster was in 2016. Antirabies injection might be necessary, depending on the doctor's assessment. Don't delay; seek attention within 24-48 hours.
