I'm wondering if inserting two fingers into my vagina means that my hymen is broken. Does the easier insertion indicate anything specific about the state of my hymen? I'm kind of concerned and would love some insights.

Normally you can't insert a single finger also so yes it can break the hymen

View allI'm really confused and could use some advice. Is it okay for girls to eat eggs and drink milk while on their periods? I've heard a lot of mixed opinions about it, and it's making me worry about what I should or shouldn't be eating during that time. Is there any truth to these claims, or is it safe to include them in my diet? Would love some insight to clear up this confusion!

I've got a bit of a concern about my period and Plan B. I had my period mid-July, from the 14th to the 18th, and then I had unprotected sex on the 19th. I took the emergency contraception pill on the 22nd. But then, oddly, I got my period again on the 28th, and it only lasted about 4 days. Is this normal? Could this be a side effect of taking Plan B?
-Yes, the bleeding you experienced on July 28 could be a side effect of the Plan B pill. Its common for emergency contraception to cause irregular bleeding or spotting, even if your period comes around the usual time.

I've been trying to conceive for a year now with no success. I have a 3x3cm intramural fibroid could that be affecting my chances? My first IUI failed, and now my doctor is suggesting fibroid removal. Is this surgery a big procedure, and what's the best option for someone trying to get pregnant?
Yes, many patients with fibroids can get pregnant. But to improve your chances of a healthy pregnancy, it's best to discuss your goals and priorities with your doctor. If fibroids are having an impact on your quality of life, a gynecologic surgeon can discuss treatment options that can help preserve your fertility.
