I'm wondering if Moxishield KT eye drops contain steroids. Could these drops cause any side effects, like problems with the heart or issues with breathing and swallowing?

View allI'm a bit worried because I had LASIK on both eyes about 15 years ago, and I don't have any records of it anymore. Neither does the surgeon's office. If I ever need cataract surgery, will the lack of these records be a problem? Is there any technology available that can help in determining the right intraocular lens for me?
Yes,no need of the previous records, surgery would be planned based on the current status of your eye

Hey, I've got this small white bump on my upper eyelid and it's underneath the skin. It's been causing a bit of pain. Any idea what's going on or what I should do about it?
You may have a stye, which is a common eye infection that can cause a painful bump on the eyelid. You can try using antibiotic eye ointment like Tobramycin (Tobrex) twice a day on the affected area. Additionally, applying a warm compress to the eyelid for 10-15 minutes several times a day can help reduce pain and swelling. If the stye does not improve or if your symptoms worsen, please consult an ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.

I'm really worried about my dad's eye condition. He went to the hospital by himself, and he's saying he needs to use atropine in the morning and at night, one drop each time, and moxifloxacin every hour. That sounds right according to the doctor's instructions, but I'm confused because as per the prescription, he's also supposed to use itraconazole and natamycin every hour. My dad is telling me the doctor advised him to start those only after finishing atropine and moxifloxacin. I'm 600 km away and it's stressing me out not being there to help. Can you help me make sense of what should be done first?
