I'm worried because I was using an earbud to clean my ear, and some of the cotton got stuck inside. I managed to pull some of it out with tweezers, but not all of it. Then I tried putting a couple of drops of Soliwax in my ear. Will this help, or should I be doing something else to ensure my ear is okay?

Using an earbud to clean your ears can push earwax deeper, and leaving cotton behind can cause irritation; attempting to remove the cotton with a plucker can also cause damage; applying Soliwax ear drops may help dissolve the remaining wax, but to ensure relief and avoid further complications, consult an ENT specialist for proper evaluation and safe earwax removal.

View allI have small nasal polyps and want to avoid surgery are there any medicines that can help shrink them or manage the symptoms? I'm really worried about going under the knife and would prefer other options if possible
Yes, several medications can help shrink nasal polyps and manage symptoms, making surgery less likely or even unnecessary. Nasal corticosteroids, such as fluticasone, are often the first-line treatment to reduce inflammation and shrink polyps. In some cases, oral corticosteroids like prednisone, or biologic medications like dupilumab, may be used, especially for larger or more stubborn polyps. WebMD also mentions that combining topical and oral steroids can be more effective than topical steroids alone.

Lately, I've been dealing with some pretty annoying symptoms like itching in my eyes, which are also reddish, along with sneezing and a runny nose. I got a CT scan of my face, and it showed something about polypoidal mucosal thickening in my left maxillary sinus, with the left maxillary ostia being blocked. This has been a recurring problem, and it's really starting to affect me. Could you provide some advice or solutions on what might be going on and how I can find some relief?
That could be sinusitis needs a course of antibiotics, visit your ENT docotor for appropriate management and do steam inhalation for relief.

I've been dealing with constant phlegm in my throat for quite a while now. I hardly ever cough, but the phlegm just keeps showing up every day. I don't feel weak or anything, but it's really starting to annoy me. There's no reduction even though I don't have a cold. What could be causing this and how can I get some relief?
it can be post nasal drip due to allergy or chronic sinusitis.
