Is it gas or heart attack?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Heart attack feels like pressure on chest cannot be relieved by antacids, associated with breathlessness. One can not entirely differentiate chest pain due to gas from chest pain due to heart attack based on symptoms only. You may need to visit a hospital and get evaluated by a health-care provider.

View allNeed some advice on cholesterol. I just got a master health checkup done and my results are a bit worrying. My total cholesterol is 200, HDL is 44, LDL is 150, and triglycerides are at 202. Is this considered too high? What steps can I take to reduce it, and how long might it take before I can check my cholesterol levels again?
Your total cholesterol level is slightly elevated, with high LDL and triglyceride levels. To help lower your cholesterol, you can start by making lifestyle changes such as following a healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol, exercising regularly, and maintaining a healthy weight. In addition to lifestyle changes, your doctor may prescribe medication to help lower your cholesterol levels. For example, you can take Atorvastatin 20mg once daily to lower your LDL cholesterol. Fish oil supplements can also help reduce triglyceride levels; you can take Lovaza 1 gram twice daily. It typically takes a few weeks to a few months to see significant changes in cholesterol levels after starting treatment. However, it is important to follow up with your doctor regularly to monitor your progress and adjust your treatment plan as needed. You can retest your cholesterol levels after about 3 months of starting treatment to see the effects of the interventions.

I've been diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy and my doctor has put me on Dytor 5 Plus and Cardace 1.25. He mentioned I need to take these meds for 6 months, but I'm a bit worried about whether it's really safe to be on Dytor 5 Plus for such a long period. Could there be any side effects from taking it for 6 months or maybe longer?
No need to worry, follow your doctor advice

I'm really worried because I've been feeling dizzy for a few days now. Since yesterday morning, I've also noticed a slight pain in the upper left side of my chest, and its making me uncomfortable. I'm not sure what's causing this since I have a gastric problem, but it doesn't feel related to that. Who should I reach out to about this? Any advice would be appreciated.
take one antacid and if still symptoms persists consult a physician
