I recently had some blood tests done, and I'm a bit confused about the results. My serum globulin came back at 4.07, but I thought the normal range was between 23.5 and something else. Also, my blood urea nitrogen is 5.27, which seems low since I heard it should be between 7 and 21. My vitamin D level is also a bit low at 10.53, but my doctor said it's not a big deal and just advised me to take a supplement. Does all this sound okay to you, or should I be worried about these levels?
Your doctor has prescribed you a vitamin D supplement to address the low levels. For your serum globulin level, you can consider taking over-the-counter antihistamines like Claritin at a standard dose of 10mg once daily. And for your blood urea nitrogen level, you can try increasing your fluid intake and consuming foods rich in antioxidants like berries, nuts, and green leafy vegetables.
