Question

It has been almost 2 months that I have been suffering from cough and cold. My blood report indicates a cold infection. Even after completing the course of antibiotics, I have not found much relief. I still have terrible coughing fits at times, which sometimes cause me to choke. What could be the reason, and what should I do next?

Cough persisting for 2 months after infection may be due to airway inflammation or post infectious bronchitis. Since antibiotics did not help, consider lung function testing.
