Is it necessary for the value of two beta hCG tests to increase in order to confirm a pregnancy? If both values are the same, what does it indicate? The tests were done 48 hours apart.

Yes, in a healthy pregnancy, beta hCG levels should double every 48 hours in early weeks. If both values are the same in 2 days, it may indicate a non viable or ectopic pregnancy. You should repeat beta hCG after another 2 days and also get a Pelvic Ultrasound to evaluate pregnancy location and progression.

I have not undergone any scan yet, but my blood reports are normal. Is this mild continuous pain normal in early pregnancy, or is it something to be concerned about?
