I have been suffering from jaundice for the last month with no improvement. I have a lot of itching all over my body, sleepless nights, loss of appetite, and I am feeling weaker day by day. My last test report shows Hep A 5.78 and total bilirubin 38.9. What should I do?

My baby is 2 days old and I am not able to breastfeed. The blood report shows bilirubin is high, so the doctor told to shift to NICU for a day for phototherapy. Is it common? How many days does it take to cure? Is there any risk?

My baby is 12 days old. When he was 3 days old, he was admitted to the NICU due to a jaundice level of 19.3 mg/dL. He was discharged the next day when the level dropped to 11.3 mg/dL. Today, on the 12th day, a repeat test showed that the jaundice level has risen to 18.4 mg/dL. Please advise what should be done and any possible solutions
