I've been dealing with allergic rhinitis ever since I was a kid. One side of my nose always seems to be blocked. It's really frustrating and I'm wondering if there's something more I should be doing to manage it. Are there any specific treatments or lifestyle changes I should be considering?

I'm really worried about my brother. He's been dealing with a nasal blockage for months now after recovering from Covid. He tested negative and was fine for a bit after vaccination, but now he can't breathe properly through his nose and has to breathe through his mouth, especially at night. It's affecting his sleep a lot. He quit smoking recently after a long habit, and his PFT results were okay, but he's still not feeling well. What could be causing this ongoing congestion?

I'm dealing with a dry nose and mouth after recovering from Covid-19. I'm drinking about 3 liters of water every day, but the issue still persists, especially at night. I'm also taking a 0.5 mg anxit tablet for anxiety. What else can I do to get some relief?

In addition to staying hydrated, you can try using a saline nasal spray for your dry nose. Also, consider using a humidifier in your room at night to help with the dryness. If the symptoms persist, you can consult with your doctor about using a medication like pilocarpine (Salagen) to stimulate saliva production.
