I've been dealing with an anal fissure for a while now and nothing seems to help stool softeners, isabgol, ointments, even sitz baths haven't made a difference. I really don't want surgery because I can't take time off work with my desk job. Are there any other ways to heal the fissure and get my sphincter back to normal without going under the knife?

View allI've been feeling like there's something stuck in my throat for about 45 days now, almost like phlegm, but its not food. Its really annoying and I keep burping on purpose to try and get rid of this feeling. I Googled my symptoms and found something called globus pharyngis. I went to see another doctor and they gave me an acid reflux gel syrup, but it hasnt helped at all. I'm kind of worried and not sure what to do next. Could you offer some advice or share your thoughts on what might be going on?
Thats usually symptom of GERD try to continue the advised by your doctor ,avoid spicy foods and consume plenty of foods, give some time it will become better.

Found a polyp with a stalk in my descending colon and feeling a bit nervous. How complicated is the surgery usually and how many days will I need to stay in the hospital? Also, how long does recovery typically take?
Polypectomy, the procedure to remove polyps, is generally a straightforward outpatient procedure that typically takes 30-60 minutes. You'll likely be able to return home the same day and resume normal activities the next day. Recovery is usually quick, with minor side effects like gas or cramping resolving within 24 hours.
