I've been dealing with back pain that radiates to both legs and MRI shows disc issues, scoliosis, and stenosis in L4-L5. I'm doing physiotherapy and taking meds but the pain keeps coming back every 5-6 months. Surgery isn't an option for me what else can I try to manage this long-term?

To manage persistent back pain radiating to both legs, despite physiotherapy and medication, consider exploring these long-term approaches:
- Lifestyle Modifications:
Maintain a Healthy Weight: Excess weight can exacerbate back pain and nerve compression.
Proper Posture: Pay attention to your posture during sitting, standing, and lifting to minimize strain on your spine. Regular Exercise: Engage in low-impact exercises like walking, swimming, or cycling to strengthen back muscles and improve flexibility. Ergonomics: Adjust your workstation and home environment to promote proper posture and reduce strain. Quit Smoking: Smoking can negatively impact bone health and worsen back pain.

View allI'm really starting to get worried about this constant twitching under my left eye. It's been happening for about 2 months now. Do you think it could be something serious, or is it usually just a minor issue?
That's common it could be due to twitching, no need to worry

I have cervical spine PIVD at C5-C6 with compression of the left C6 root causing severe left arm pain. My left thumb and half of my arm feel weak and inactive. Are there any effective non-surgical treatments that could help with this?
Yes, there are several effective non-surgical treatments for cervical spine PIVD (prolapse of intervertebral disc) at C5-C6 with compression of the left C6 nerve root, especially if the left arm pain, thumb and arm weakness, and inactive feeling are your main concerns. These include physical therapy, medications, and potentially epidural injections.

I have diffuse disc bulges from C3 to C6 and take pregabalin and tramadol but still need aceclofenac 100mg twice daily for proper pain relief. Physiotherapy didn't help and multiple doctors say surgery isn't an option. Is it safe to keep taking aceclofenac long-term? I'm worried about kidney damage but don't have other choices for pain management.
discectomy is advised.
