I've been dealing with a cold for about two months now, and it's left me with this really annoying foul taste in my mouth. The cold itself isn't really bothering me as much as the taste is. Any ideas on what's causing this, and how I can get rid of that awful taste?

I've had this uncomfortable feeling because a chicken bone got stuck in my throat. I tried eating a banana and some bread with butter, but it didn't really help. I went to the emergency doctor at the government hospital, and they advised me to see a specialist the next day. After an X-ray, they said there was no bone in my throat, but now it's been six days and I'm still feeling pain in my throat and ear. Another doctor gave me azithromycin 500 mg and brufen, but I'm not getting any relief. What should I do next?
take azithromycin for 3 days, drink oral fluids.
