I've been dealing with a cough and cold for a few days, and then I started having some breathing problems. I went to a doctor and got some medicine, but it didn't completely fix the issue. I had some tests done like tc, dc, esr, hd, and ige, and even had a chest x-ray. Just got my results back today and my ige levels are almost double the max limit. I'm worried and really want to consult a doctor about what this could mean. Any advice on next steps or what might be going on?

I'm curious about what's going on with my health. I've been experiencing watery eyes, a runny and stuffed nose, body aches, an itchy throat and nose, and headaches that all come on suddenly. I usually take cetirizine, and it seems to clear up these symptoms within a day. But the problem is they keep coming back every couple of weeks or even sooner. So Ive been dealing with an itchy throat for a while now and tried a bunch of meds, but none of them seemed to help. My doctor suggested I get a Sr IGE test, which I did, and my levels came back at 373, but the normal range should be below 158. What exactly is IGE and does this mean I have allergies?
