I've been dealing with a cough for over two weeks now. I had a similar issue with a chronic cough that lasted about two months before but improved until almost two years went by. This time, I don't have any other problems like headaches, body aches, or weaknessjust the coughing. I just got my sputum test results and they show gram-positive bacilli and gram-positive cocci in pairs and chains, with occasional pus cells. What's the best way to handle this? How worried should I be?

View allI'm really worried about my dad. His CT scan just showed that he has right-sided pleural effusion with a solid component, and there's something about subsegmental collapse consolidation. Could these findings mean he might have developed some kind of malignancy? I'm not sure what to think and could really use some guidance.
No we can't tell only on CT reports

Sometimes in the last two days, I've been experiencing shortness of breath and a tight feeling in my chest. I dont have any other symptoms. I was diagnosed with a bronchitis tendency a few years ago. After having COVID back in April 2021, I got a pulmonary analysis, and that was normal. With COVID still a concern, it's tough to meet a doctor face-to-face. Do you think it's safe for me to take Aerocort and Asthaline 4mg twice a day for 5 days? Any other advice you can share?
Yes,continue asthaline and aerocort 4 mg for 5 days, twice daily .Also salbutamol inhaler sos is advised for breathing difficulty.

I'm dealing with a weird issue where I cough up this jelly-like stuff that comes from deep in my chest. In the mornings, my spit has these dark brown-black specks and its a bit thicker than usual. Im 23 and used to smoke a lot but quit about two months ago because of this. I do have acid reflux, but its mostly under control. I'm worried and can't figure out why this is happening, and sometimes it's so thick that it makes me vomit. What could be going on?
Yes that could be due to GERD ,continue using PPIs and consume bland diet and have adequate rest this will help you
