I've been dealing with erectile dysfunction and went to see a doctor about it. He recommended I get tests for testosterone, vitamin B12, prolactin, and FSH. My results came back, showing testosterone at 2 ngml, vitamin B12 at 182 pgml, FSH at 2.99 mIUml, and prolactin at 7.21 ngml. I'm scheduled to see him on Thursday, but I'm feeling really anxious and worried. Is a testosterone level of 2 ngml considered critically low when the normal range is 2.8 to 8? I'm a 29-year-old male, 178 cm tall, and weigh 95 kg. I used to smoke. Can you give me any advice on this?

View allIs blood sugar in the 180-220 range bad?
A blood sugar reading of more than 180 mg/dL or any reading above your target range is too high. A blood sugar reading of 300 mg/dL or more can be dangerous. If you have 2 readings in a row of 300 or more, call your doctor.

I'm 17 and I've been wondering about something. I've been masturbating every day and I'm curious if this might be affecting my testosterone levels or the growth of my beard. Could it be having any impact on these things?
Masturbation does not have a direct impact on testosterone levels or beard growth. Testosterone levels are primarily influenced by factors such as age, genetics, overall health, and lifestyle. Similarly, beard growth is mainly determined by genetics and hormonal factors. If you have concerns about testosterone levels or beard growth, it is best to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice and guidance.

Just found out I have hypothyroidism with normal T3 and T4 but TSH at 24. My doctor started me on thyroxine 100mcg. I need to get a dental surgery done with local anesthesia soon should I wait until my TSH levels are normal or can I go ahead with the procedure now?
It's generally recommended to wait for TSH levels to normalize before undergoing dental procedures with local anesthesia, as hypothyroidism can affect the body's response to anesthesia and other drugs. Waiting for TSH levels to normalize allows the thyroid hormone levels to stabilize and improves the overall management of the condition
