I've been dealing with a hard, painful lump on my hip for a couple of years now. It formed after I got an injection there, and the medicine seems to have just stayed put. It's really uncomfortable and I'm not sure what to do to make it go away or at least reduce the pain. Any advice on what I could try to help with this?

View allI'm dealing with really bad scalp itching and dandruff, and my doctor recommended using medicated shampoos with alternate-day head baths. But I have an eye surgery coming up next week and can't wash my hair for at least 15 days after. How can I manage the itching and dandruff without taking head baths during that time?
To manage dandruff and scalp itching before and after eye surgery without frequent hair washing, consider using medicated shampoos less frequently, employing natural remedies like coconut oil or apple cider vinegar rinses, and focusing on scalp hygiene with dry shampoo and gentle cleansing methods. Consult your doctor about using a medicated shampoo with a longer interval between washes or trying alternative treatments like topical corticosteroids if needed.

I'm having trouble sitting for the past couple of days because there's a bump on my buttocks. I'm not sure how it got there, but it's really uncomfortable. Could you help me figure out what's going on?
The bump on your buttocks could be a pilonidal cyst, abscess, or boil, and to alleviate the discomfort, apply warm compresses, maintain good hygiene, and consider consulting a general surgeon for a proper diagnosis and treatment, which may include antibiotics or drainage.

I'm wondering if it's safe to use luliconazole 1% cream on the male genital area. I've got really sensitive skin, and I'm a bit concerned about any possible adverse reactions since my dermatologist recommended it for a fungal infection. Can you offer any insights or precautions I should take?
based on type of reaction it is used
