I've been dealing with this internal cold and sore throat for a couple of months now, and on top of that, I've got gas problems that are causing constipation. It feels like my belly is constantly filled with gas, and it's really making life hard for me. I've tried some medicines like some kind of pauladom and lanol, and they helped for a while with the gas. But then it all started up again, and now my doctor has me on some sinno spray for the cold and rablet. Could you help me understand what these symptoms might be all about?

When higher antibiotics are taken they kill the normal flora of the gut, and cause irregular bowel movements. They also cause gastritis. For this you will have to take a course of probiotics. Also other causes for irregular bowel movements and gastritis like malabsorption syndromes, metabolic disorders, crohns disease, ulcerative colitis will have to be looked at. So kindly consult a nearby general surgeon for your abdomen problems and ENT specialist for cold and sore throat. You might be started on proton pump inhibitors and probiotics for the same.

View allI'm a 34-year-old guy dealing with these annoying anal fissures for about 5 years now, and they seem to keep coming back. It's been happening since 2011, and when they appear, the pain is just unbearable. I've been following the doctor's advice more fiber, stool softeners, using Lox 2 jelly, and taking sitz baths. They heal only to reappear like every 2-3 months, especially after episodes of very soft or hard stools. There's this fleshy part around my anus that sticks out, which I think makes things worse. A couple of months ago, I had a sigmoidoscopy, and while everything seemed normal, they did find a small fissure and small piles. The doc just said to keep on with the Lox 2 jelly and add some AnoBliss too. I'm wondering if there's a way to heal these fissures permanently without surgery. Is it alright to keep using Lox 2 jelly every time I go to the bathroom? And, are these recurring fissures something that could potentially lead to rectal or anal cancer?
for permanent cure surgery is the choice ,there is less chances it turns into cancer

I'm really worried about my mom. She's 68 and has a celiac condition, and her ESR just came back at 61, which seems high to me. Her hemoglobin is 9.6 gm, and she's also undergoing treatment for CLD. I'm trying to figure out why her ESR is so elevated. Plus, she's developed these allergy-like pimples on her back and stomach. Could these issues be related? What could be causing this?

I've been dealing with a bit of a situation. A week ago, I had a throat infection and was on medication for it, but then I started having stomach upset and loose motions. I decided to stop the medication, and I tried arrowroot powder to help. It seemed to work, but now, for the past three days, I've had stomach pain on both sides. I dont usually have issues with gastric acidity, but the pain gets worse when I walk, go upstairs, or take a deep breath. What should I do about this?
If the pain is severe, constant, or associated with symptoms like vomiting, fever, bloody stools, or significant tenderness, it would be wise to consult with a healthcare provider to rule out any underlying issues, such as an intestinal infection or inflammation.
