I've been dealing with jock itch and these white itching patches in my jock area for over a year now. Ive tried using antifungal powder, but it doesnt seem to work. Is there something else I can do to get relief from this? Im really worried its not going away, and I just dont know what to try next. Could there be another underlying issue causing this?

Persistent jock itch and white patches can be frustrating. Since antifungal powder hasn't worked, consider:
- Consult a dermatologist: Get a proper diagnosis and guidance.
- Try antifungal creams: Clotrimazole, miconazole, or terbinafine might be more effective.
- Improve hygiene: Wash the area with soap and water, dry thoroughly, and wear breathable clothing.
- Tea tree oil: Mix a few drops with a carrier oil (coconut or olive) and apply to the affected area.

View allI'm feeling a bit self-conscious because the skin on my body is fairly light compared to the darker skin around my private parts. Is there any way to even out the color and make it look clearer? I'm interested in affordable home remedies, creams, or any simple treatments that could help. Any advice?

I've been using the Mintop 5% minoxidil solution for about a week and a half, and it feels like my hair loss has actually gotten worse instead of better. I'm a bit worried if this is normal or if I should stop using it. Could there be another medication I should consider?
Hair loss can sometimes worsen temporarily when starting minoxidil treatment. It is important to continue using the medication as directed. In addition to minoxidil, you can consider adding finasteride 1mg tablet once daily to your treatment regimen. Finasteride helps to block the hormone responsible for hair loss. Remember to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new medication.
