I've been dealing with pain in my right ear for the past few days and it's really starting to bother me. Could you give me some advice on what might help with the pain relief?

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Given your medical history and current situation, your doctor has likely prescribed:

  • Duvadilan Retard 40mg: to relax the uterine muscles and prevent preterm labor
  • Forcef antibiotic: as a precautionary measure, despite no confirmed urine infection

Safety:

  • Duvadilan: generally considered safe during pregnancy, but monitor for side effects like dizziness or nausea
  • Forcef antibiotic: likely a broad-spectrum antibiotic; ensure you complete the full course and monitor for any adverse reactions

High CRP levels indicate inflammation. Your doctor will likely monitor this closely.

Please follow your doctor's guidance and attend regular check-ups to ensure the best possible outcome for you and your baby.

I'm having some trouble with pain on the left side of my throat, where my food pipe is. It's really noticeable when I'm jogging and taking in air; it hurts quite a bit. The pain seems to stick around throughout the day too. Sometimes it even makes my left ear hurt a little. Any ideas on what this could be or how to deal with it?

It sounds like you may be experiencing inflammation or irritation in your throat, possibly related to acid reflux or a throat infection. To help alleviate your symptoms, I recommend taking a proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole 20mg once daily before breakfast to reduce stomach acid production and help with any acid reflux. Additionally, you can try using a throat lozenge like Strepsils to soothe your throat as needed. It's also important to stay hydrated and avoid irritants like smoking or alcohol. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management.

I'm really worried because I can see my epiglottis and it seems like it's always visible. Ive been dealing with allergic bronchitis and lately I feel like there's something stuck in my throat, although it doesn't actually hurt. However, I've developed a throat infection over the last week. Is it normal for my epiglottis to be visible all the time? I'm pretty scared about this. What should I do?

Usually epiglottis is deep inside thats not visible for one self, even then if you are sure and its bothering you, visit ENT docotor for evaluation and appropriate managemnet.
