I've been dealing with a really sharp pain in two of my left foot fingers for the last couple of days. Its weird because there's no swelling, and I haven't injured myself or anything. A few years ago, I got some physiotherapy treatment for ankylosing spondylitis at the Indian Spinal Centre in Delhi. Could this foot pain be connected to that, or is it something completely different? I'm just trying to figure out if it's something I should be worried about.

I'm 20 and I'm experiencing a lot of body pain, just like I did three years ago. Back then, the doctor told me I had ASO titre positive after doing a blood test and recommended penidure injections and ecosprin tablets. I've been feeling this way again for the past three days. Could you please let me know what I should do next?

It sounds like your symptoms may be related to a recurrence of a condition like rheumatic fever. Please consult a doctor promptly for a detailed evaluation, including an ASO titer test and possibly other investigations. Early treatment with appropriate medication, like antibiotics or anti-inflammatory drugs, is important to prevent complications.

I've been dealing with pain on the entire left side of my body from head to toe for the past 3 years. It starts at my neck, goes through my shoulder, arm, hand joints, lower back, hip, leg, and foot. The worst pain hits my shoulder joint at the back and lower back, but its only on my left side. An orthopaedic suggested I try vitamin D and B12 supplements, which I did, but they didnt help. Some days, the pain is so bad I cant even do any work, and other days its just a bit less. Im really concerned because I havent met anyone with the same issue. Could you tell me what kind of doctor I should see and what this might be? I'm really worried about whats going on.

It sounds like you may be experiencing neuropathic pain or nerve pain. This type of pain can be caused by various conditions affecting the nerves in your body. Since you have already seen an orthopedic doctor and tried Vitamin D and B12 supplements without much relief, I would recommend consulting a Neurologist for further evaluation and management.

I'm taking folitrax injection 15 mg every week and I'm just wondering, could it cause issues with my digestive system or liver? Also, are there any other noticeable side effects I should be aware of?

Folitrax (methotrexate) can cause digestive issues like nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and stomach ulcers. It may also affect liver function, potentially leading to liver toxicity or elevated liver enzymes. Other side effects could include fatigue, mouth sores, and hair loss. Always monitor with your doctor for any signs of complications.
