I've been dealing with scalp itching for a while and have been taking Minoz 100 tablets to help with it. It's frustrating because whenever I stop taking the medicine, the itching comes back after a few days. I'm worried about having to rely on these tablets forever. Is there a way to stop taking them and still manage the itching? Any advice would be appreciated.

t's great that you're looking to explore alternatives to long-term medication.

Minoz 100 tablets and scalp itching:

Minoz 100 tablets contain minocycline, an antibiotic commonly used to treat various skin conditions, including acne and rosacea. While it may help alleviate scalp itching, it's essential to address the underlying cause of the itching.

Why itching returns after stopping the medication:

The itching may return after stopping the medication due to:

  1. Underlying condition: The root cause of the itching, such as dandruff, eczema, or psoriasis, may still be present.
  2. Dependence on the medication: Your body may have become accustomed to the medication, leading to a rebound effect when it's stopped.
  3. Hormonal or environmental factors: Hormonal fluctuations, stress, or environmental changes can trigger itching.

Kojvit cream is advised.

I'm really worried about the dark circles under my eyes; they've been there for years. I'm desperate to find a way to get rid of them. Do you know of any effective treatments? Is laser treatment a good option, or should I consider something else? I feel so frustrated with this issue and really need some advice. Can you help me out with this?

Dark circles is something that may be familial hereditary in nature and thus leading this to be a less treatable issue. However, in a lot of cases there are acquired causes - like repeated rubbing allergic condition of the eye stress anxiety depression lack of sleep etc . Its important that these issues are first addressed. You could further consider creams - but they have to be used for many months to show some visible results. Also tear trough treatment with fillers may be helpful in some cases. PRP therapy too does wonder in treating this condition.

I've got these dark spots on my knuckles, joints, and fingers, both on my hands and legs, even on the palm area. I'm wondering what could be causing this and how I might be able to treat it. I've also got a history of Ankylosing Spondylitis. Could this be connected somehow? What steps can I take to lighten or get rid of these dark spots?

The dark spots on your fingers knuckles and joints could be due to a condition called hyperpigmentation, which can be common in individuals with Ankylosing Spondylitis. To help lighten these dark spots, you can try using a topical cream containing hydroquinone or kojic acid. Apply a thin layer of the cream on the affected areas twice daily. Additionally, using a sunscreen with a high SPF on your hands and fingers can help prevent further darkening of the spots. If the dark spots persist or worsen, it is recommended to consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.
