I've been dealing with this seborrheic dermatitis for like five years now and it feels like I've tried almost every treatment out there. I'm starting to get really frustrated and I'm not sure what else to do. Is there something I might be missing or any other options I should consider?

In cases where conventional treatments have not been effective, a prescription medication like Ketoconazole shampoo (2%) can be helpful. You can use it twice a week for 4 weeks, then once a week for maintenance. Additionally, a topical corticosteroid like Clobetasol propionate cream (0.05%) can be applied to affected areas twice daily for up to 2 weeks. It's important to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I've been dealing with hives and took longifene for a week, which seemed to help initially. But now my cheeks are red, and after seeing a doctor, it's just gotten worse with itching all over my face, small pimples, and even more redness. What's going on, and what should I do next?

It sounds like you may be experiencing an allergic reaction or a skin condition. To help with the itching, redness, and small pimples on your face, you can try taking cetirizine (brand name Zyrtec) 10mg once daily. Additionally, you can apply hydrocortisone cream 1% topically on the affected areas twice a day. Make sure to avoid any triggers that may worsen your symptoms, such as certain foods or skincare products. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please follow up with your doctor for further evaluation and management.

I'm taking griseofulvin because my doctor prescribed it for a problem, but I forgot to mention that I'm already on tryptomer. Is it okay to take tryptomer and griseofulvin on the same day, like maybe griseofulvin in the morning and tryptomer before bed? I'm a bit concerned about any interactions or issues that could arise from taking them together.

I've been noticing these black round patches on the skin near my buttocks and penis area, and they're super itchy. They seem to be getting larger every day. Could you help me figure out what's going on?
