I've been dealing with some breathing issues for about a week now, and I'm starting to get really worried. There's this constant noise when I breathe out, and I've been coughing up thick white mucus. It's getting really uncomfortable. Could this excessive mucus production be something serious? And what can I do about it? Would love to hear your thoughts.

View allI've been dealing with a chronic belching problem ever since my first chest tube 3 years ago. This week, I was back in the hospital with another chest tube, and interestingly enough, I barely burped at all while I was there. Now that I'm back home, the burping has started up again, and it's painful to take a deep breath. I'm really worried my lung might have collapsed again. Could these issues be connected? Should I go back to the hospital?

My dad just got out of the hospital after a 25-day stay. He's been recovering from COVID, and now he's dealing with fibrosis. His oxygen saturation levels are hanging around 89-90, and he's doing his lung exercises about 34 times a day. We have a concentrator at home, and his oxygen level is 93 at 1.5 liters per minute. I'm worried and wondering how often we should give him oxygen support and if we should adjust the liters. Any advice?
