I've been dealing with some intense redness on my face after using skinlite cream for a couple of days. My dermatologist suggested momivate cream which has 0.1% mometasone furoate. Is it okay to leave this cream on overnight? I'm also worried because my skin is really oily and prone to acne. Could using this cream cause more acne? Would really appreciate your advice.

View allI'm really struggling with this folliculitis problem on my scalp that's been going on for almost 4 years. It all started with these mild bumps, and I've been through so many dermatologists and tried all kinds of antibiotics. They work, but only as long as I'm taking them. The moment I stop, the blisters and pus come back in just a few weeks. Recently, I tried multivitamin injections to boost my immune system and it helped for a couple of months, but now the blisters are back and they're super painful. I even had a pus culture test done, but it came back negative for bacteria. I'm honestly at a loss on what to do now since the doctors say they've tried everything. Any advice on what steps to take next would be really helpful. I'm open to more tests if needed.
Since you have already tried different antibiotics and Betadine AD shampoo without long-term success, and the pus culture came back negative for bacterial growth, it may be worth considering other treatment options. One possible approach could be to try a combination therapy of oral antibiotics along with a topical antibiotic ointment.

I've got this chicken pox scar on the right side of my forehead that's pigmented and a bit deep. I really want it to match the rest of my skin, even if the depth stays the same. Would it be possible to get rid of the pigmentation so it looks like my normal skin color? I'm open to the idea of a small surgery if that's what it takes. Could you give me some advice on this?
For the pigmented scar on your forehead, you can consider using a topical cream containing hydroquinone to help lighten the pigmentation. Additionally, you may benefit from laser therapy such as PicoSure or Fraxel to further improve the appearance of the scar. In some cases, a dermatologist may recommend a chemical peel to help reduce the pigmentation. It's important to consult with a dermatologist to determine the best treatment option for your specific scar.

I'm feeling pretty concerned because there's a lump I can feel between my eyebrows, above the bridge of my nose. It's weird because I can't see it and no one else can either, but it definitely hurts. What could this be? Should I be worried?
