I've been dealing with some itching and redness on my thigh near the scrotum, and I've noticed some pimples in that area too. Despite using an antifungal soap, it hasn't cleared up and now the itching seems to be spreading to my penis. I'm really worried about what's going on. Can you help me figure out what this might be and how I can treat it?

View allI'm taking a 5mg levocet tablet for a skin reaction on my face and have been on it for 6 days now. Since I don't have any more itching or redness, I'm wondering if I should stop the medicine or keep going. My doctor originally suggested I take it for 10 days. What do you think I should do?
You can stop taking Levocet 5mg tablet since you no longer have itching or redness on your face. It is advisable to complete the course as prescribed by your doctor, which in your case is 10 days. Since you have already taken it for 6 days and your symptoms have resolved, you can safely discontinue the medication.

I've been using patches to quit smoking, and now it's been about a month. But my hands and feet are really dry and cracking, almost peeling to the quick. What can I do about this? Should I be worried?
The process of quitting smoking can be tough on your body, but its worth it for your long-term health. Stay patient and keep up with your skin care routine to support your recovery. use moisturisers and hydrating soaps.

I've been using this Demelan cream that my dermatologist suggested, but I'm experiencing some itching and a bit of redness where I applied it. It's only been two days. Should I take a break and then continue, or just stop using it altogether?
It seems like you may be experiencing an allergic reaction to the demelan cream. It is advisable to discontinue the cream and consult your dermatologist for an alternative treatment. In the meantime, you can apply a mild corticosteroid cream like Hydrocortisone 1% cream on the affected areas twice a day to help with the itching and redness.
