I've been dealing with some really bad stomach and chest pain for the past four days. Sometimes I even feel dizzy, and its kind of scary because it seems like the left side of my body goes numb. Plus, my breast seems to be swelling up. Could you help me figure out what's going on?

Based on your symptoms, it is important to seek medical attention immediately. The combination of stomach pain, chest pain, dizziness, numbness on the left side, and breast enlargement could indicate a serious medical condition such as a heart attack or other cardiac issues. Please go to the nearest emergency room or call emergency services for further evaluation and treatment.

View allI've been having some pain that's really bothering me, and I can't figure out if it's something serious. I'm 33, female, about 165 cm tall, and weigh 64 kg. Recently, I've been dealing with chest and upper back pain. It's weird because I feel really sharp pain when I lie down, but when I'm sitting up straight or walking, I don't notice it at all. It almost feels like there's something stuck in my throat, and when I swallow my saliva, the pain shoots to the center of my chest and then over to the right side and into my upper back. I also end up burping a lot and have the urge to pass stools when this pain kicks in. If I pay close attention, it seems like the pain starts on my back's right side and radiates to my chest. Is this something related to my heart?
It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), rather than a heart-related issue. The sensation of something stuck in your throat, pain when swallowing saliva, chest pain that radiates to the right side, upper back pain, and frequent burping are all common symptoms of acid reflux. I recommend trying over-the-counter antacids such as Tums or Rolaids to help alleviate your symptoms. You can also try lifestyle modifications such as avoiding trigger foods (spicy, acidic, fatty foods), eating smaller meals, avoiding lying down immediately after eating, and raising the head of your bed. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it would be best to consult with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I'm experiencing loose motion and some pain in my lower abdomen for around 36 hours now. I've also been having some gastric problems over the past few months. I do a lot of bike rides and spend long hours sitting and working on my laptop. Can you please suggest what might help?
It sounds like your gastric issues might be worsening, possibly due to sitting for long periods or stress from travel. To ease your symptoms, try to stay hydrated, avoid heavy meals, and consider using a heat pad for abdominal pain. If the discomfort persists or worsens, its best to see a doctor for further evaluation.

I'm really worried about my mom. She's 68 and has a celiac condition, and her ESR just came back at 61, which seems high to me. Her hemoglobin is 9.6 gm, and she's also undergoing treatment for CLD. I'm trying to figure out why her ESR is so elevated. Plus, she's developed these allergy-like pimples on her back and stomach. Could these issues be related? What could be causing this?
