I've been dealing with this sputum issue for a while now. I used to be a smoker, but I quit about four months ago. Occasionally, I've had a cigarette maybe once a month since then. Lately, I've noticed this sputum in my throat every morning when I wake up. Could you help me understand what's going on and what I can do about it?

View allI'm really worried about my mother. She's been diagnosed with lymph nodes TB after a biopsy, and we saw a specialist at a private ENT hospital. They've prescribed a bunch of medications like AKuriT4, which includes Rifampicin, Isoniazid, Pyrazinamide, and Ethambutol hydrochloride, along with Rablist DSR capsules, Livogen captabs, and Lyorech capsules. I'm just unsure where to start her treatmentshould we stick with the private hospital or go to a DOTS center? Are there any risks associated with either option? I just want to make sure I'm making the best choice for her care.

I've had a cough that just won't go awayit's been over 3 weeks now. I usually get coughs like this every winter, but this time I went for a Chest X-Ray to check for TB at a hospital in Delhi, and thankfully, I was told I don't have it. But then, I saw a pulmonologist with MBBS and DTCD who suggested I do a Montoux test, and now they're saying it's TB. Should I be doing more tests to be sure? If I start on medication, how often do I need to see the doctor for check-ups? Also, is it okay for me to travel outside the country while I continue the treatment?

I'm really worried about this dry cough and breathing trouble I've been having for about a month. It's more noticeable at night or in the morning and worsens when there's smoke, like from an agarbatti. I get some relief with Divya Swasari cough syrup, but it doesn't seem to completely go away even though I'm on antibiotics from my physician. Could you help me figure out what's going on or suggest what else I might try to finally get better?
you might have bronchitis, take tablet amoxyclav for 5 days, twice a day
