I've been dealing with these choking issues for almost a year now. It's like I get this shortness of breath and try to fix it by coughing on purpose. It ends up in this kind of cough that feels like I'm about to vomit, but I never do, and nothing really comes out. No fever or anything, but I've been taking half a Montek LC tablet at night, and it's not really doing much. What could be going on with me?

I recently had an x-ray done and it showed a scar on my lungs. The report mentioned it's an old TB scar that's not currently active. Is there any treatment or medicine available to help get rid of this scar and have a clear lung x-ray? Also, I'm trying to understand the PPD test better. If there's swelling in my arm with a red area around the injection site but no noticeable bump, would that be considered a positive result?
