I've been dealing with these choking issues for almost a year now. It's like I get this shortness of breath and try to fix it by coughing on purpose. It ends up in this kind of cough that feels like I'm about to vomit, but I never do, and nothing really comes out. My mom's been coughing pretty badly for the last 3 weeks, and she also noticed some blood when she coughs. Her X-ray showed slightly prominent upper broncho vascular markings in both lungs, and her cardio thoracic ratio is a bit high. She's also been getting fevers and having trouble breathing.
