I've been dealing with tonsil issues for the past 2-3 years, but only the left one hurts and it's gotten bigger. It's really affecting my life and I'm feeling so down about it. Is there any way to treat this without surgery? I'm desperate for some guidance on what to do next

It's understandable that you're seeking non-surgical solutions for your persistent tonsil issue. Since you've been dealing with this for 2-3 years and the left tonsil is particularly affected, it's important to rule out other possibilities and get a proper diagnosis

View allI'm curious about some issues I've been having. I've been dealing with sinus infections and nasal polyps for about 5 years now. I went through surgery back in June 2016, but just a few months later, the same problems started again. Lately, I've been noticing my nose gets completely blocked, sometimes just one side, but there are days when both are blocked. It feels like something is stuck in there, and its really hard to breathe, especially at night. I've been using XyloFlo nasal steroids for the past two years whenever things get bad, and I also use a neti pot with saline tabs. I have a CT scan that's less than a year old if you think it might help. I'd really appreciate any advice you can offer because it's getting pretty frustrating and it's hard to focus on studying for my exams. Any thoughts on what I can do to feel better?
Since you have been using Xyloflo nasal steroids for temporary relief, I recommend adding a nasal corticosteroid spray like Flonase (fluticasone) or Nasonex (mometasone) to your treatment regimen. These can help reduce inflammation in the nasal passages and improve breathing. Additionally, considering your history of chronic sinus issues, it may be beneficial to use a saline nasal irrigation system regularly, such as NeilMed Sinus Rinse, to help keep your nasal passages clear and reduce the risk of infections. I would also suggest consulting with your ENT doctor to review your recent CT scan and discuss the possibility of further treatment options, such as a different type of nasal steroid or the use of oral corticosteroids in a tapering dose to help manage the inflammation more effectively.

I've got these sore blister-like things at the back of my throat, and I'm kinda worried. My sister thinks it's strep throat, but someone else mentioned it might be related to something sexual, while another person just said they're blisters. I'm confused and a bit concerned. Could you help me figure out what might be going on?
You seem to be having granular pharyngitis which commonly occurs secondary to chronic irritation of throat in conditions such as Post nasal discharge, allergy, reflux laryngopharyngitis, smoking etc. Treatment of primary cause is necessary Next Steps Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required

I'm curious about how long I can safely use Furamist AZ spray. I don't use it every day, just occasionally when I get those annoying allergy sneezes. Is there a limit to how often I should be using it?
You can use it as SOS no problem.
