I've been dealing with unilateral hearing loss in my right ear for about 16 years now not sure if it's been there since birth. Is there any way to treat this naturally without surgery or hearing aids? What would be the fastest and most effective option for me?

View allI'm really anxious because I woke up yesterday and tried to clear my throat and when I spit, there was some blood in it. I saw two dark red blobs of blood stuck in the back of my throat when I looked in the mirror. I didn't notice any more blood throughout the day, but then in the evening, another blob was there in my throat and it didn't come out. I'm worriedcould be something serious? Also, my nose is often dry, and sometimes when I clean it, blood comes out. I have burping and acidity problems too. I'm not sure what's going on. Can you help me understand this?

I've recently had earwax removed, but since then, I've been feeling a lot of pressure and fullness, especially in my right ear. It feels like I need to put my finger in there and stretch it to get some relief. It's like there's an itch or a constant urge to wiggle the inside of my ear as if it's swollen. My hearing has definitely improved after the wax removal, but this pressure is bothering me, mostly in the right ear and occasionally in the left. I've been using Ciplox ear drops for about a week now. Is this normal? Should I be taking any precautions or consider any other treatment? I'm getting a bit worried about it. Would appreciate your advice.

I'm starting to experience some weird issues with my right ear. It feels like a broken speaker, vibrating on and off. It's even worse with loud noises. This all began after a long flight, and I'm worried because Ive had problems with this ear before due to a cholesteotoma. What could be happening?
You may be experiencing symptoms of ear barotrauma, especially considering your history of cholesteatoma and recent long haul flight. I recommend using a decongestant nasal spray like Afrin (oxymetazoline) to help relieve the pressure in your ear. You can also take an over-the-counter pain reliever like Tylenol (acetaminophen) for any discomfort. Additionally, consider using earplugs or earmuffs in noisy environments to protect your ear. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please follow up with your ENT specialist for further evaluation and management.
