I've been dealing with a wet cough for the last three years, but I haven't noticed any other symptoms like fever, unexpected weight loss, or feeling sick generally. I'm really concerned whether this could be tuberculosis. Could you suggest what tests I should consider for diagnosing TB? Also, does the Quantiferon Gold TB test effectively diagnose TB with just one test?

View allI recently had a chest x-ray because I felt like my lung capacity isn't what it used to be. The results mentioned something about prominent bronchovascular markings, but everything else seems normal. Should I be worried about this at all?

I've been dealing with a cough, cold, and throat infection for the past two weeks. I've already taken azithromycin 500, Montair LC, Omnacortil 10, and Joshina syrup, but I'm not seeing much improvement. Do you have any advice on what I should do next?
Waiting for test results can be anxiety-provoking. Swollen lymph nodes can have various causes, ranging from benign to serious. Common causes include infections, allergic reactions, or inflammation. In many cases, swollen lymph nodes resolve on their own. Try to manage your anxiety by: - Practicing relaxation techniques (deep breathing, meditation) - Staying occupied with daily activities - Avoiding excessive worry or speculation Your GP will discuss the test results and provide guidance on the next steps.

I'm a bit confused about my recent test results and could use some advice. My spirometry report came back normal, but my FeNO level is around 35. I'm not sure what this could mean. Could it be a sign of asthma or allergies, or maybe something else? Also, my SPO2 level is consistently at 98. Would love to get a better understanding of all this.
this test indicates the amount of nitric oxide exhaled, which is used to diagnose asthma. since your feno value is increased it might be asthma, but not a confirmatory test
