I've been diagnosed with Alopecia Areata and my doctor suggested I take methyl prednisolone tablets. Is it safe for me to also use Nervijen and Etoshine tablets? I'm dealing with some heel pain too, so I'm just a bit concerned about mixing these meds. Can you advise?

Considering your Alopecia Areata diagnosis and the prescribed methylprednisolone, it's essential to exercise caution when adding new medications.
Nervijen Tab and Etoshine Tab
- Nervijen Tab: Typically used for anxiety and insomnia, it may interact with methylprednisolone, increasing the risk of adverse effects like dizziness, drowsiness, or stomach ulcers.
- Etoshine Tab: Usually prescribed for pain relief and inflammation, it may increase the risk of stomach ulcers, bleeding, or kidney damage when combined with methylprednisolone.
Safety Concerns
- Increased risk of side effects: Combining these medications may lead to adverse effects like stomach ulcers, bleeding, or increased blood sugar levels.
- Interactions with methylprednisolone: Nervijen Tab and Etoshine Tab may interact with methylprednisolone, reducing its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects.

View allMy son's nails haven't been growing at all, in both his hands and feet, for the past five years. I'm really concerned about what kind of problems this could cause. Is there any treatment that could help his nails start growing again?
Nail growth arrest for 5 years may indicate an underlying condition, such as hypothyroidism, anemia, nutritional deficiencies (biotin, vitamin B12, or iron), skin conditions (psoriasis, eczema), or genetic disorders (nail-patella syndrome); potential complications include increased risk of fungal or bacterial infections, nail bed inflammation, or secondary infections; consult a pediatrician or dermatologist for a thorough evaluation

I've got this small, round red spot on my hip, and I suspect it might be some sort of fungal infection. I've been applying a cream called Bactafuz, which has fusidic acid in it. But I'm not sure if it's really the right treatment for this. Do you think I'm using the right cream for this kind of infection, or should I be trying something else? It's been worrying me, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
